What is RecordAR?

RecordAR features works by artists across generations, created in a range of mediums, and often at different stages in their careers. Curated around the themes of memory and identity, it provides a space for interdisciplinary artistic experiments.

Launched in July, the program connected young people of 14-27 with diverse backgrounds and artists based in Munich (Germany) and Gyumri (Armenia), bringing them together to explore the intersection of analog and digital art forms for sharing untold stories. It started with stone printing and progressed into multimedia art, with experimentation in augmented and virtual realities. It provided a space for exploring, experimenting through new forms of creation.

On October 5th, the closing circle exhibition of RecordAR showcased an immersive collection of diverse artworks, combining physical and virtual dimensions, and highlighting the final works created throughout the program.

We are excited to share the artworks created during the project through our XR Exhibition. The works are already being presented at several events in Germany and Armenia — we hope to see you there!

Refugio Music Group “Kaleidoskop” hosted by Taiga & Momo Novus

Artists who, alongside their passion for music, also share the Refugio Art Workshop studio, will showcase their skills this evening with self-produced and self-written songs.

Their diverse musical and linguistic roots come together across the genres of soul, pop, and rap. What unites these rappers and singers is a shared vision of creative collaboration. Through captivating beats and lyrics, perspectives shift — like through a kaleidoscope.

IbuProPhet — DJ Set

Ian Jakab, aka IbuProPhet, shares music as a remedy for world-weariness. Having grown up on three continents, he blends vinyl treasures into an eclectic mix: South and Central American cumbias, rediscovered world beats, dubby post-wave soundscapes, and Eastern grooves — in short, music for the soul. Guaranteed no placebo.

In 2021, he built the DJ-BIKE — a solar-powered cargo e-bike with a sound system and DJ booth — launching Soundtrack for the City, a non-profit series that brings music into public spaces.

Since 2024, he has hosted the radio show “Hinter den Bergen” on Radio Lora Munich, reviving forgotten flea-market records and weaving them into a fresh, contemporary context.

TaronX — DJ Set

TaronX is a Yerevan (Armenia)-based DJ, producer, and artist with an eccentric vision and sharp taste in music. With over a decade of experience, he’s a long-time member of Yerevan’s underground scene and now fully dedicated to electronic music. His sets focus on electro and breakbeat, infused with a diverse range of genres to craft club-ready, high-energy performances.

Constantly exploring new artistic paths, TaronX performs at raves, club nights, and radio/podcast series while collaborating internationally with artists and labels such as Rinse France, Radio 80000, Wachita China Fast Music Delivery, Crazed Behaviour, Ovelha Trax, Ganzfeld Records, and more.
